You work with me directly, from the first conversation to the final report. Where a mandate needs more, for example dynamic simulation, I bring in experts from my network and agree this with you beforehand.
My career started in software development. From 2006 I spent six years in the US, running and commissioning automated distribution centres for SSI Schäfer. Back in Germany I led integration management globally, the business consultancy and then food retail sales. From 2018 to 2024 I ran the intralogistics software portfolio for KION Group in EMEA, including technical due diligence on M&A candidates.
I founded LogistiXpert in 2025. Besides consulting, LogistiXpert develops the LogIQ VDA5050 Analyzer, a software product for VDA5050 communication between vehicles and fleet controllers. I have sold automated warehouses, taken them into operation and assessed them for acquisitions.
Responsible globally for food and grocery retail sales, with order intake above €100m a year and contract negotiations at that scale.
I know how a throughput figure is built into a proposal and which assumptions carry it.
Commissioned and ramped up automated distribution centres in the US, including a first-of-its-kind case-picking system. Later I led integration management globally.
Hired and led the resident maintenance teams. I have seen these systems fail at three in the morning.
Owned the intralogistics software portfolio across EMEA: product management, development and rollout.
